Have you tried QuickTac, which is free from Duxbury. (Link on page
below)

The Beta version is also worth using as you can get down to adding or
removing individual dots.

Subject: [duxuser] graphics software

Hi all,

I am a TVI/"braille transcriptionist" looking for suggestions on
software to purchase that would allow me to create tactile graphics on
my embosser [Romeo Pro-50] that is compatible with Duxbury [as I am
assuming I will open files in Duxbury to emboss them...?].  Something
user-friendly would really be helpful.

Thanks,
