Hi Albert, By far the best way to produce UK math is by using a Word add-on called "MathType". It's not expensive if you are able to justify an Educational license - £40 is UK Sterling. There are many additional advantages such as being able to also produce large print from the same file(s). Feel free to drop me a line off list (George@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) and I can fill you in on any of the finer details if you like. (I'm just heading off to Sight City, but will be back on Friday) All the best, George Bell Techno-Vision Systems Ltd 76 Bunting Road Ind. Est. I am new to the list and a new DBT user. I have a few questions to ask of list members and would appreciate your help to solve these issues. When translating maths such as the plus sign, DBT doesn't seem to translate it as expected. I am using English/British textbook format with capital letters. Consider the following example: 2 +2 =4. The translated text remains a plus and not dots 5-6 followed by dots 2-3-5. Also, if there are punctuation marks such as a comma or full stop separating each number, e.g. 3, 5, 7, 9 and so forth, how can I separate them with a dot 6 before the punctuation mark? Also, consider the following example: [q~3333333333333] In 1 Volume [q~3333333333333] The translated version is as below: 3333333333333 ,in #a ,volume 3333333333333 Shouldn't the ",in" be contracted? I am sure I will have more questions along the way, but that's all for the time being. Would be grateful to any member who can help me with these issues.
