RE: [duxuser] Putting in ++Thanks, Warren, I just had wanted AL because of
the placement of the page numbers. Small thing, really.

Technically, Duxbury is correct for in true American literary braille there
is no plus sign. And the rule in English Braille, American Edition reads as
follows for symbols that are not defined:

Rule VIII, 31f. The appropriate word should be substituted for any special
symbol for which no provision has been made in this code such as "Copyright"
for "C."

You may wish to switch to textbook format where that symbol is defined.
There you won't get plus plus; you'll get @+@+ (a pair of dot 4-346's)
instead.

BANA knows about the discrepancies between English Braille, American Edition
and Braille Formats and is working to resolve them.

Happy brailling to you.
Warren

Hi guys,
I need to generate a document and one of the codes the organization uses is
++ (plus sign plus sign). I'm using American Literary, and it's coming
++ out
spelled out, (plus plus). I need the two + signs together, (++) and don't
know how to do this. Any help would be appreciated as my boss wants it NOW!

*smile*

Thanks much!
