[duxuser] Re: Preserve braille characters in text document untranslated?

Still on my endless quest... urgh.

I did try the option of using the [q~w] coding, which when entered into
duxbury itself worked great, and translated fantastic. However, trying to
import that coding from word didn't work so hot.

One of my examples was:
a schwa with the right hook ligature is going to be [q~5:r]

So if I am reading the documentation correctly, in my word document I should
code that [[*q~5:r*]], is that correct? Or have I misunderstood?

I don't know how much of my problem with getting this to work was a coding
problem and how much might be attributable to font problems (an unrecognized
font in the input file, as opposed to, say, times new roman, or arial.)
When I tried the [q~w] coding, even things that were reading in correctly
before then didn't read in correctly, but it may be because I made some
mistakes in doing the find/replace in word (along with font issues). I'm
ending up with a lot of stuff that looks like [U:0f22][U:0f89] etc where
before I was actually getting words. yikes. frustrating.
