Hi Jean! The accessibility of MathType probably depends quite strongly on us as JAWS users informing Freedom Scientific that math accessibility is important to us. I suggest that everyone who has an interest in this go to the FS website and fill out the support form stating that math accessibility is important to you. This is probably a matter of increasing importance, since math Braille is possible through DBT and MathType! It sure would e nice if there was an accessible math tool for blind users. Other than six-key entry for advanced math, there really aren't any choices. So at that point, with I believe mathtype 5 and jaws 9.02?.x.? (actually whatever the latest version 9 release of jaws is) we had no luck. I don't believe we've tried since we loaded mathtype 6. Maybe between mathtype 6 and jaws 10, something will work. Nancy " I don't have pet peeves, I have whole kennels of irritation"--Whoopi Goldberg No virus found in this incoming message.
