I'm having a tough time getting my Duxbury 10.7 software to work with my
Basic D braille embosser. I believe that Duxbury is doing a good job of
translating my Word document into braille but the Basic D version 3 braille
embosser is eating paper! I am translating from Office 97-2003 document
into braille grade II. Using 8 and one-half by 11 inch tractor feed paper
connected to a USB port on my laptop computer. If anybody who has a Basic D
embosser can help me with the configuration of the embosser or tell me how
to check for a paper jam, I'd be grateful. I use Windows Xp Home and have a
wireless connection if that makes a difference. I downloaded drivers,
configured the embosser as directed but the braille paper is not feeding
between the rubber rollers and into the printer cabinet. Thanks for your
help so far.
