[duxuser] Re: DBT Wish List

Hi Alan,

Replies after brief requote.

Well up the list, but may not make this design of DBT.

I do agree here, and that's speaking from personal experience of having to
handle large files where you want to check the effect of a specific change.

Did you ever see the British program called, "Jim 'll Fix it"? Well I rather
suspect Jim would have more luck here! (Smile)
Back translation of plain old text braille is tricky, but add maths and
chemistry, and you open a hornet's nest. That's not to say it will never be
possible, but personally I'd have to ask how long it would take to recover the
cost of development.

That issue has been added to the database of feature requests. I'd hope it
will make the next release.

Not impossible to add wildcards, I just don't know how tricky it would be, but
I'll ask.

No no no! DBT doesn't have bugs! It's a feature - don't you know? They just
didn't tell you about it. (Huge smile!)
Seriously though, the concept is good, and in fact a feature of Word for
Windows which lets a sighted person get an overall visual picture of the
document.
