George

Whilst I agree that there is a gremlin I might have expected an issue
with the latest test version but not with the original 10.6 which the
machine is running. My previous impression was that 10.6 was stable.

David,

Looks like there's a gremlin messing up embosser settings. I believe
Peter is now on to it, so we'll await news.

Given that Templates are stored in \\\Program Files\dbt 10.6\templates,
I thought they were common to all. I'm sure Peter will advise.

George.

George

Initially 'All users' had not been set but it has now and the problem
remains. There is a difference in that the embosser is coming up but the
page and line lengths are not being saved.

Any more suggestions.

Is there any way of making the default templates the same for all users
or is that something that has to be set by each user?

David

Hi David,

Is it possible you might have missed the following setting?

George.

Following up on Christian's comments. I am finding that the embosser
settings I make are not sticking and are lost each time I exit the
software.
I had not noticed the problem initially but I have just been in and out
of DBT SR1 several times and the embosser set up is not remaining at
all.

On the same theme using 10.6 but not using the SR1 version. We have a
staff machine which people log onto as different user names. I thought
that when I loaded 10.6 onto the machine that the embosser settings I
created would then be there for each user, even though they log on with
different names. This does not seem to be the case. Any suggestions?
