Peter, No, no no. That's McGillicuddy who finds it! I just pass on the message. George. -----Original Message----- From: duxhelp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:duxhelp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Peter Sullivan Sent: 31 March 2006 23:43 To: duxhelp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [duxhelp] Re: another crash George, I'll only hate you for the bug you find the day after we start shipping. - Peter -----Original Message----- From: duxhelp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:duxhelp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of George Bell Sent: Friday, March 31, 2006 5:41 PM To: duxhelp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [duxhelp] Re: another crash Oh yes, Joanie! Me too. SPECTACULAR. You know, Peter's going to hate you as much as me finding this kind of thing! In order to test something else, I wrote "This is a test." In a new Duxbury print document. I then selected it, copied it, held down Control V and kept it held down to rapidly fill up the document with text. It locked up around line 26 and sent CPU usage to 100%. Take care. The we think we've got it. The problem is rather embarrasing -- and quite general, insofar as we can tell. The program could in fact lockup at just about any time. Faster typing presumably just brings it about faster. It will be fixed for beta 4. Best for now to be very careful not to depend on DBT 10.6 beta 3 for time-critical work. And save frequently while you're using it. - Peter -----Original Message----- From: duxhelp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:duxhelp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Melissa Hirshson Sent: Friday, March 31, 2006 2:53 PM To: duxhelp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [duxhelp] Re: another crash Woops! All this time I should have said lockup, not crash. Thanks. L Peter Sullivan wrote: > Lissa, > > We'll have a look. > > In the meantime, Mike may have a breakthrough for you.
