I can only give my viewpoint, but I am sure that there are other valid
viewpoints out there.

In our environment, the majority of the material we emboss originally
comes from an OCR program. For reasons we do not begin to understand,
the program inserts many optional hyphens into the document. While we
have the habit of searching for these characters, we often do not remove
all of the characters. When we miss one, it is often in the middle of a
multi-hundred page document that we then have to re-emboss. From this
perspective, we would like to see this change implemented.

However, I also recognize that this can be viewed as a trivial issue in
a somewhat obscure circumstance that effects a small number of users.
From this perspective it would be impractical to delay the release of
the program to correct this issue.

With these two perspectives, I would suggest that if this can be solved
without effecting the release cycle, then I would like to see it
perused. If this will cause a large problem, then we can adjust our
processes to more effectively correct this issue until the next release.

Thank you very much!
