Hello Peter:

I set the line spacing to 5.2 to increase the line distance to
correspond with the North American standard.

If you set the line spacing to, for example, 4.4, the Basic-D will
tell you that the embosser can emboss 28 lines per page, 4.5 and the
embosser tells you that it can emboss 27 lines per page, and so-on and
so-forth.  By the way, those totals are with a top margin of 1 being
set in the embosser.
