Dave,

That's right.  There presently isn't a rename style function.

I won't be adding it during this cycle, either.  Adding features during a
beta cycle is a very tricky thing.

I will keep it in mind for the future.  It's on file with reference #1289.

Another suggestion

please!  Please!  Please!  Give us the ability of editing style names.
Because if you type a style name incorrectly when creating a style, there
appears to be know way of correcting the misspelled style name without
creating another style with the correct spelling and then deleting the
misspelled style.
