George,

I've added Everest to the problem description.

The Generic results aren't of too much interest. We expect no problem there
when you've set DBT's parameters to accurately describe the settings and
behavior of the embosser. We expect a problem if you don't. In other
words, if things are working fine one way, then you change only DBT or the
embosser (but not both) then a problem is sure to arise.

If you're available, David and I will give you a call to work this out
today.

- Peter

Hi Peter,

More in this I'm afraid - same level of firmware.

FYI, we are using "sample.wp6" set to 30 cells per line, 28 lines per page.
Binding and margins of zero.

As with Basic D, the default Index EVEREST settings for Generic Interpoint
do not "Skew".

However, with the Index Everest settings, they have skewed out by TWO cells.

I don't know if this offers any clues, but with Generic Interpoint, setting
the Maximum Cells per Line to 40 also causes a skew of 2.

George.

Peter, this applies to 10.5, but we'll check with Beta ASAP.

Index Basic "D" - Firmware 11.3.2

With "Generic Interpoint" setting of 29 or 30 cells and 28 lines per page,
NO binding margin, braille is "back to back"

With "Index Basic D" Version III, 10.25 or newer, the even numbered page is
moved over one cell from the binding edge.

George
