Jack,

DBT is indeed prone to giving this message when it shouldn't. This is a
longstanding issue. As one that doesn't prevent work getting done, it's
never been at the top of our priority list.

Is there a question for me in your message below?

I can't help being curious here, as Generic was both my default printer in
win98 and global printer setup in the beta. In the last dbt release, it was
set as something else. I'm thinking that if I changed the default in the old
dbt the print to file wouldn't change. I have received this message during
the course of my relationship with DBT.

If there is a bug in the beta, I am glad to help irradicate it.

Jack
