Global, Printer Setup will allow you to choose the default configuration for
10.6 Beta 1.
But I suggest sitting tight on the crashing issue for now. Mike is looking
into it; we expect to have it resolved for Beta 3.

Hi Peter:
The beta defaults to generic: text only. The other version of DBT's default
is Agfa-Studioset 2000s f. I am trying to figure out how to change the
printer from Generic Text to AGFA, to see if embossing still crashes. If
you think this is where the conflict arises, let me know. I have never had
occasion to use a printer, and so nothing about them.
