I could see a super cool plot someday 
where we have new characters from that 
world and they're sent on a quest to 
retrieve the kids.  

Or even if the kids are raised on the 
outer planes, they themselves might 
make neat characters.  Dennis's 
daughters have to be at least 10 by 
now, for example -
