Hey, everybody - how's it going? I
spent a great deal of time last night
trying to figure out how this pantheon
could work - in a way that doesn't
simply mirror the FR pantheon. I'll be
sending out some ideas in a subsequent
email.
Some errata, though -
John, earlier this week, we talked
about making Zolkiir the god of
knowlege, to reflect his interests.
The more I think about it, it's tough
to separate Dennis from the subject
entirely - it's essentially what a bard
is all about, and I keep picturing him
as the being with the best
understanding about the world and
everything in it. Maybe we could do a
compromise?
Let's say we make Zolkiir the god of
discovery, invention, and learning, and
Dennis the god of history and
knowledge. They'd both have an area to
specialize in - Dennis with his focus
on accumulated history and lore, and
Zolkiir with his emphasis on
discovering new knowledge and
rethinking the old. They'd have a
symbiotic relationship that way. What
do you think?
More in another email - that was the
only specific thing that I had a
question on. Remember that what I've
come up with in the next few emails is
just ideas - nothing has to be set in
stone.
