i think that yankee britching is a really good idea.  do you use it to show?  
do you have any pictures?  as you can probably guess i am not very involved 
with the "traditional" or the "usual" where my equines are involved.<G>  it is 
a great experience to show a mule only at horse shows and also a test of my 
sense of humor!
