Good suggestion to start with greenie on the right in a pair, so that you
can reach them easier with the whip, but I think sometimes it depends on
what you are planning to do during your schooling session. If you are
hacking down the road, I would put the horse that is better with oncoming
traffic on the left, closer to the traffic. Although, when I put my sillier
filly on the left, her steady dad on the right prevented her from spooking
by not letting her jump to the shoulder, he just kept trucking along
straight while she got over her "vapors".
As they start to gain experience, don't forget to switch sides so that they
become ambidextrous !
