Thanks everybody. Obviously not an urgent situation, but there hasn't
been much list action over the holidays and it is something I've been
thinking about. It was interesting to hear about what the draft horse
people do. I think I'll start ponying Greni a little next summer. I
usually do that by hooking the baby to the Mom pretty closely, and then
either leading Mom on foot or from a pony horse. Since my saddles don't
have horns, and my horses don't neckrein, I've come too close to sliding
off backwards to let one of those two-year old twerps experience his
first puddle when I'm trying to pony him directly. Mom doesn't even
notice that he's sat down - she just keeps right on walking :)
