[drivingpairs] to pair or not to pair

Right now our lessons are NOT going well and the little man insists on
turning to face me at every opportunity!
From what you describe, my guess is that you are probably running the lines
through the saddle terrets when trying to ground drive him. That's why he can
turn around and face you. Run them further below on his side, like throug shaft
loops of a single harness, or trace buckles of a pairs breast collar, so that
they are not on his back but along his sides. Then he can't turn around as
the outside rein leads around his butt and you can keep him straight, or on a
circle. Longlining lessons 101.
