    Actually Sharon I was agreeing with you in my post and just recommending
that people take their rule books with them to competitions. I have found it
extremely handy when talking with TD's and asking them to show me the rule
that covers a particular area.  It helps in any discussion in my opinion to
have a point of reference in which to reach consensus.
    Years ago I was told by a TD that I was eliminated for wearing my hard
hat in cones , I asked politely to see the rule about not wearing hard hats,
there was none and I was reinstated in first place. It was a valuable lesson
to learn for me.
