[drivingpairs] Re: politics

The USET bylaws are available on line at http://www.uset.com/ Click on By-Laws.

The USAEq information including constitution, bylaws and show rules, as well
as a
comprehensive history of the "discussions" between USAEq and USET are on the web
site at http://www.equestrian.org/

None of this info pertains directly to the selection process, but it is there
for
the reading. The recent upheavals in the sport (see above discussions) have not
helped what has always been perceived as a politically influenced process.

I think it is also worthy of note that there has been no "official" posting of
the
selection results, or lack thereof, on EITHER web site.

As for whether or not this topic is appropriate for this forum, as an
information
item it probably fits, as there IS a direct impact on Pairs and multiples
drivers,
both horse and pony. However, as a point of fact, any discussion on this list
or
the CD-L is unlikely to have any effect on either the outcome of the selection
process in general, or the specific non-selection in question.
