[drivingpairs] pairs without breeching and more...

I would not recommend this to everybody, and especially not to beginners who
are not well educated how to hitch and drive properly, but for advanced
drivers who know what they are doing and well educated horses, there is no
problem
driving without breeching and cruppers and backstraps - and Merrie probably got
the idea from me - as I do it all the time at home - but when in public will
add the crupper and backstrap - but still no breeching, and the crupper and
backstrap only so people don't get excited. But as Merrie states, we don't need
it. The main function of the saddle on the pair is only to hold the terrets
for the reins in place, and if we use the brake well, then it won't slide
forward, so doesn't need a backstrap. The other main function of the crupper is
to
prevent a horse to clamp down his tail when he gets a rein underneath the tail.
If you know your horse doesn't do that anyhow, then no need for the crupper.
So harnessing and unharnessing goes a lot faster which means more time to
drive and less time also to clean harness.
