[drivingpairs] pairs bits question

Hi All
Does anyone know a good source for 4" bits? It's pretty hard to find a good
selection of driving bits in the first place, but when you have to search
for small ones, there isn't much to choose from. One of my pair goes happily
in a mullen mouth half-cheek, and the other (greener) one is going nicely in
a d-ring french-link. He has a very small, flat mouth with low palette I
think, and this relatively thin little bit is comfy for him and lays nicely
on his tongue. But the d-rings are really too big (kind of overwhelm his
face), and with a big ring like that the rein has a lot of play before you
actually take up contact. Does that make any sense? I think perhaps a good
solution would be a french-link half cheek if I could find one in 4". Then
they'd look the same on the outside, but each horse would be happy inside
his mouth. Any thoughts you folks might have would be welcome.

rain.
