[drivingpairs] new member

Hi
I joined this list a few days ago and would like to introduce myself so you
know I'm out here lurking and learning.
I breed miniature curly horses and curly ponies in western Washington and
started driving two years ago. This year I'm going to pair up two red 40"
curly pony mares with the goal being to show them in an open pony driving
class next summer, if we get that far along. I have a really great
professional trainer to keep me and the girls on the right track, but I know
I'll have questions along the way and will need a lot of advice, so I'll
probably be asking you guys some dumb pair-beginner questions.
I also have something for the Yard Sale: a sweet, handsome 46" bay pinto
curly pony stallion. He only has ground-driving training so far, but he is a
nice mover. Pictures and info are on his web page at
http://www.mindspring.com/~ebancroft/pirate.htm (lots of other curly
information on the website too, if you're curious - or if you know anyone
who's allergic to horses).
Regards,
Ellen Bancroft
