[drivingpairs] Re: marathon vehicle for sale

Carol,

Is your marathon vehicle still available? Would you send me a picture?
When you sit on the box behind your 14hh-ers, how high were you relative to
your ponies' backs? Do you think the vehicle would be well-suited to 15+hh
horses? Did you buy the vehicle new in '01?

Thanks,

Katie Blake

4-wheel marathon vehicle for sale.

This vehicle was built by Michalowski & has a serial number. Purchased in
fall of 2001. 4-wheel marathon vehicle with chromed closed loop shafts,
chromed regular shafts, and spring loaded padded pole. The shafts are
adjustable for length & width and the pole can be adjusted for length. Has
removable lamp brackets (no lamps) Adjustable driver's seat (front to back
& side to middle adjustment) & a passenger seat. Brakes with lock. Grease
fittings on all wheels and the 5th wheel (very nice not to have to remove
wheels). The wheels are 30" and are steel with hard rubber tire. A step has
been added to the driver's side front axle for easier access. This vehicle
has never been raced or used to show in. It has never been in any accidents
or wrecks. It is cut under and turns on a dime and is very stable. I used
this vehicle with my 14 H Fjord and it weighs between 300 & 400 lbs. I am
selling it because of old knees that no longer let me get in safely and
quickly. Asking
$3500 and that is firm.
Picture upon request. Phone 715-349-2004 or email me privately. I will
deliver this vehicle within 100 miles of my home which could be the Twin
Cites or Eau Claire, WI
