[drivingpairs] lead bars for tandem

I am looking into getting tandem lead bars made. My first thought is to
have them made of chrome moly steel, which is the lightest, strongest
choice. The only problem with CM steel is the need to paint it. The other
choice would be stainless, which of course is heavier.
If we could do this at a reasonable price, would others be interested (in
addition to Ansley!)?
I will need to work on design, since I haven't used tandem bars myself. My
notion is to have the bars hang from a pair breast collar set of D's.
Having heard that John Greenall is recuperating, I might go see him to get
it right.
Dave
