[drivingpairs] hitching fours

If I have an excess number of helpers when I am hitching or unhitching four,
I generally choose someone who does not have any particular skills to offer
to the process and have that person hold the four lines, from the ground.
The instruction: stop the horses if they run off. Of course, my horses
hitched easily and safely, and were easily hitched with two people. Having
that person on the lines possibly could save our bacon some day, but
meanwhile they feel useful (and could be) and otherwise stay out of the way.
