I have Zilco for my Shetland pony (but that pony and harness have
found a new home, and will be leaving soon)=2E  My new Welsh pony has
harness from Claudette at Country Carriages=2E  I have Camptown harness
for my Fjord, that I am using now on my Morgans, with a Zilco Empathy
Collar=2E  Have a Camptown mini harness, with a Nearside mini breast
collar=2E  Had the horse pairs Nearside harness, but that is now at its
new and wonderful home up in Canada, as part of a new and exciting
driving training center=2E

I really like the combination of a little bit of leather with the
Beta Biothane=2E  At the 3rd Annual Wine Country Carriage Classic last
summer, the judge even came up to my husband's turnout to feel the
lines=2E=2E=2Ewhich were the brown beta=2E  Of course, there is nothing li=
ke
the fit and feel of leather=2E

Working with Dave at Camptown Harness, couldn't be a beeter
experience=2E  He works with you to get the right combination of
harness to function, and has great thoughts on the subject=2E  I tend
to like the parts of the harness that touch the horse to be leather,
less heat collection=2E=2E=2Ewhich is how Dave makes his harness=2E  Count=
ry
Carriages has some leather on theirs, as well, but not as much as
with Camptown=2E  Most place will, of course, make some adjustments
here and there, so that you get just what you want=2E =20

I am still in the thought process as far as serious harness for my
pair goes, but do have Bob Tolmach's used harness in my tack room to
use=2E=2E=2Ethank you, Bob!  I am hoping to work my way up to maybe a
Freedman marathon harness?  They have some really wonderful and new
tricky things on their harness that I really like=2E  At least I don't
have to be in any hurry right now to decide=2E=2E=2E=2E=2E=2Esigh=2E=2E=2E=
=2E=2E=2E=2E
