     when I first got online in 1996...I was on a great group out of UC 
Berkeley....open and chatty and we
did  lots of  training "talking" ((though not about driving this was about 
general training of a specific ridden
horse type ))....sometimes answering very specific questions from one part 
time "lurker" on saddles
and hands and gaits and such

                 imagine my disbelief/disgust at seeing those conversations 
complied and put in book form in
about 1997....the EXACT words and situations and conversations added to a 
book on training
horses that has now made the "complier" thousands and thousands of 
dollars,videos,clinics...no mention
of "thank you" for input...only stolen ideas from about 10 of us real life 
trainers for a complier to make money on....

        over the last few years I have trained outsiders' animals on 
occasion only to have
it reported back to me that a "big name trainer" actual trained the horse 
and I just "worked it after he
got it started" because having his "name" attached  brought the owner more 
prestige....or being named as
"co" trainer when I was the one that did the work....

                sigh....in the end I get tired of people repeating my very 
words (sometimes with me standing there) as
if they themselves thought of it....and always being "second" to some one 
more "flashy" or "fashionable"...after
all who wants to admit that some country biscuit made their horse behave 
when they couldn't ???
