[drivingpairs] encouraging different equipment

Hi MArtha,

I was glad of your support in my conversation at the expo with the "overcheck lady". Actually, I'm not even on a campaign to get people to get rid of equipment they are used to, just want them to come to our ADS shows and see how much fun we are having,and how nicely horses (minis/ponies/cobs/donkeys et al.)can go without the overchecks !

And I usually don't use breeching schooling every day, as my carriage has brakes but do use it at Devon,or at a CDE "just in case" the brakes fail. Hey, if your rein can come off mysteriously, brake lines can get gremlins too !

I've heard the "we're not the ADS", usually from people who have no concept of what the ADS does or is !
