[drivingpairs] Re: drivingpairs Digest V5 #215

Guess I will put my 2 cents in here. We have 5 mares, no geldings. There are 4
geldings who moved in across the street and my oldest mare, 29 y.o. QH,
recently went over there to "visit", dragging her whoa now behind her, and was
found "necking" over the fence with their Appendix QH gelding. My pony mares
drive, (used to be 4 in hand now have 3), and never have had a problem with any
of them, ever. The old QH, isn't that 82 in human years? She loves most
geldings when they're around.
I'll take a mare over a gelding any day. Plus the neighbors geldings are always
acting out, rearing, biting, etc and putting nicks and scars on each other.
Does that Boys will be boys stuff ever stop?

Doug K, we saw you in Newport! I so wanted to say hello, but we never got a
chance to get close enough. Thanks for coming to NE!
