Thanks for the nice comments, but since Renie mentioned it, yes, her dressage
arena set-up is really great and even though I do get around and have been in
the sport a good number of years, I haven't seen that before, and it really
is so simple. Just a 100 meter arena, and then 10 meters in from each end, just
a few plastic pipes marking the corners for the 80 meter arena, but set in
from the corner about 3 meters, so one can drive by to use the 100 meter arena,
or use them as corners for the 80 meter arena. And every 10 meter a cone
without letters. One could mark E & B, but the others, heck, who of us really
knows which letter is where anyhow, as long as one has the visual aid as to
where
that letter would be. For me that's enough, and don't need the actual letter.
It really worked great.
