I believe that it may not "just be a help", it may be a large contributing
factor. Perhaps less likely with an experienced pair, they know what to do
in spite of poor conditions.
So often, the time, work, and expense involved in "fixing" a problem, would
have been saved if a little time had been spent to create good working
conditions for the horses to start with.
Been there, done that, sure wish I "knew it all"! I don't really think it is
possible to know it all, though there are those that are way closer to that
goal than I will probably ever be.

have).
