I have a bent partially brass snaffle bit that my 2-year old colt chewed
up. It is bent where he would shew on it when he got anxious and wanted
to go. I think he liked the taste of it but I save it to remind me to
inspect my bits every time I use them. I only use the Myler bits now.
They are designed to stay up off the tongue. I even using Myler bits with
my mini driving pairs and the perform wonderfully.
