[drivingpairs] Re: another photo

Hi All...I am new to drivingpairs. I have been driving my morgan mares
(mother and dau) for a couple of years. I want to buy an easy entry
forecart...so I can harrow the field while I train them to pull together.
What length of tongue should I have ? My morgan mares are 14 1/2 H and
their brothers are going to be at least a hand taller (they are 2 1/2yr and
8 months; the 4 yr brother is 16H). I have a marathon carriage that they
pull on the flat...driving singlely...it weigh's 550 lbs plus weight of
people on the carriage. What will a forecart weigh? Do you use mechanical
brakes? I have a Section A welsh mt. pony (45 inches) when she foals in May
I will then have my pony team. My pony drives single and has driven with
her mother in the past. I need to find a 4 wheel vehicle with a low center
of gravity. I also need a pony pair harness. "Any suggestions on these
questions will be appreciated. I live near Portland, OR. Pat
