Hi Kathleen,

Let's see if this works for you.   The leather washer (I'm not sure what
else to call it) is attached to the upper link, just below the cross piece.
After a couple of years of hard use it's not showing signs of wear.  It's
replaceable because there is a nut and bolt that holds it in place through
the upper link.  Simple.

hi jeanine,

would it be possible to send me a picture of the washer you have on the link
of the yoke?  is it replaceable if it wears out?  btw, i make gator pads and
have lots of scrap material in small pieces.....if that heavy padded gator
material would be of any help to dampen the rattles i would be happy to send
pieces to anyone who might like some.....
