I will see if i can figure out which magazine had that article!  I would
love to see a photo of what it relly looks like.
  I just read a wonderful story complete with incredible illustration in a
Harper's from late 1800s -- but it was a kind of recounting of a tale --
hard to tell the truth from the myth!  esp as I thought wolves were really
unlikly to attack anything like 3 horses with people -- but wolves in large
groups & starving , I guess that might make quite a difference  to how bold
they would be!
  Myself I think I would be tempted to say home...   :)     Thanks, Nancy in
