[drivingpairs] Tandem Drafts

Having shown drafts in single carts for about
five or six years now, I thought that I would try
tandem.  I bought the rosettes and was going to
get the turrets, but haven't gotten around to it
yet. Haven't hooked the horses or anything. 

This discussion is great!  I remember at one of
the shows at the driver's meeting, the judge said
that he didn't care how the horse where hooked in
tandem as long as it looked safe.

Now, have any of you watched a draft tandem
class?  For some reason, everyone wants to do it
and some people just shouldn't without more
practice at home.  It always looks like they
raided the home depot chain section.  Some people
hook the leader to the single tree of the cart by
extending his traces with chain.  So the as the
leader moves, the chain wacks up and down not
only hitting the shafts, but the wheeler.  

I'm glad there is better ways to hook up
tandems!!!!
