Hi Jay:
I'm new to this list (have been on CD-L for years).  Am hear to listen and 
learn about driving tandem - my dream.  I own a bunch of Hackney horses, 4 of 
whom are rock solid to drive and 2 old enough to start training this spring.  
I've decided that this year is my year to go for it.  I'll be doing basically 
as you described in your first article, piecing things together until I see 
who will work well with who and if I truly do like it.
I bought Paul Doliveux's book "Driving a Tandem" early last fall and have 
read it cover to cover.  I also have a rein board to practice on.
I will have help but none who have ever driven a tandem so I'm looking for 
any and all advice as to how to proceed.
