[drivingpairs] Start digging through those horse pictures-

Hi Everyone-

When I come across something I really like, I usually tell about 5 people.
When I come across something I don't, I usually tell 500.

Anyway, I'm making an exception this time! I came across a fascinating web
site and a fascinating and very talented individual. Suzie Benkoski at
Equine Estates has put together a remarkable web site for everyone who enjoys
horses, but of particular interest is her ability to take random photographs
(and don't we all have a box full...) and reformulate them into a composite
image, incorporating your farm colors and other imagery that may be
associated with your horses or farm.

What we did... I sent Suzie several photos of our lead stallion, Madrona
Rubicon, aka "Mickey" and told her our farm colors were teal and beige. I
mentioned that our farm name "Aswyn" is a Celtic word meaning "magical" and
that my ancestors came to the US from Wales. (Suzie even picked up on the
emblem for Wales, the Dragon.) Anyway, what she sent back to be knocked my
socks off. Not only did she design an outstanding graphic, but provided it
to us in both JPG format and TIFF, so we can make it into a brochure with any
local printer.

You can see an example of what she started with and the finished product.

The main web site is located at http://www.equineestates.com

You can have your own down for your web site, brochures, promotions,
whatever. She also did an excellent one for our world champion mares,
picking up on a Joan of Arc theme which is the name of one of our mares.

Her work is very reasonable in cost. Now, if you are going to make dozens of
revisions to the first pass, the time and labor may cost additional, but I
have found Suzie to be very fair with her services. Our creations came in at
about $75 per graphic

Anyway, I have no interest in Suzie's services, other than wanting to share a
rare find with other horse people, who I know will enjoy her work. Look
through all of her portfolio and see what she has done with many breed
examples and the creative concepts she has incorporated with every day
pictures.

I know she would do an excellent job with your pictures as well.

Best regards-
