[drivingpairs] Sharing, on the list



I am very thankful of those who are willing to share their knowledge with 
the list. I don't need to list names, we all know who you are! That's one of 
the major points of having this type of list.

I don't understand those that reply privately, when there are others on the 
list that would like to read ALL replies. It then would allow everyone to 
sort out what they feel is best for their situation.

I have heard that some very knowledgeable people will not even post to the 
list. They feel they would be "giving away" what they normally charge for! A 
few years ago we were in the market for a trainer, for a young Morgan with 
ATTITUDE. We settled on one (a long ways away) based a lot by what that 
trainer had posted on the list. We feel that trainer did an excellent job 
with our horse. Does that trainer post to the list as an advertisement? I 
don't think so. Just trying to be helpful, and I appreciate it.
