I assume you mean how to attach slotted traces to a carriage with roller
bolts?
You need to have what are termed Monkey Knuckles or Monkey Links. These look
kind of like a belt buckle and your "slotted trace" hooks through these and
created a loop that slips around the roller bolt. It tightens as tension is
put on the trace. The last time I bought a set of these I got them from
Freedman Harness
416-256-7674. They are not very expensive and you can use the existing
traces you have, no need to replace them.
