I think the leaning away from each other is easier to cure. Same as teaching
them to bend properly. Drive large figure eights and work that inside horse
and push him to the pole with the whip. You find more details on that concept
in
my article Pairs 102 which Helen just posted it on the www.Drivingpairs.com
website. The leaning into each other is harder to solve, and yes, switching
would be my first step, and driving them FORWARD actively when they even think
of it, to get them straight again.
