Have you checked out the High Sierra ponies here in Ridgecrest ? Chester has a ton of black ones - all wild as mustangs, but some beautiful movers. That's where my ponies came from.

I'm still looking for a 12h black Welsh pony to make a pair. You
would think that there were lots out there, but I can't seem to find
one. I'm in Northern California but am making a trip all the way back
to the Carolinas next week(s).
