[drivingpairs] Ponca City Weather

Well, we had 20 inches of snow. In front of the barn the snow was waist
high in places. Thank goodness we have plenty of hay in the barn. Starting
to worry about grain which I get at a town 30 minutes north of us. Two more
storms forecast for this week. Horses are wondering why they are being
punished and kept in their "rooms." Knowing the storm was coming, we did
some road work last Saturday where we saw temps in the 50s. We are going to
Georgia first of April. Really a chore to get out to the horses that live
in the pasture with run-in sheds. But they are doing just fine. Snow too
deep to get wheelbarrows or the four wheeler around to get stalls cleaned
and manure dumped. It will be a real job when the snow clears. But I will
take this over the ice storm we had last year when we lost most of our
trees.
