[drivingpairs] New Pair

Thank you for all the information posted to this list. My "potential" pair
became my "driving" pair this week! I harnessed my palomino brothers, used a
trailer tie (with panic snap on one end) to connect them at the breast collar
and tried to ground drive them in the arena. Good thing they are patient
because we fumbled around a lot! I first tried driving only one but that
didn't work; we see-sawed, one turned a 180 on me, so I bridled both of them.
That worked a lot better and eliminated the mentioned problems. I used my
single driving reins on both of them and that just added to my fumbling around.
I need to figure out how to adjust my pair lines and give it another try. Its
sunny today; I think I'll do just that!
