I am not sure but I believe there may be a solution. Try Steve at
www.nwwh.net or 208-267-8777.  I just purchased a set of trace
conversions, converts chain end traces to  be used with a buggy type
single tree.  The other item I purchased was a trace extender which I have
not used.  The trace conversion is wonderful and works great for my work
harness when I need to convert it to the buggy.
