I had a problem with a gelding that didn't like to be in a pair. He
used to pin his ears, shake his head and threaten his partner. Even
though these two geldings were a very close match I decided to try
other horses with the nicer horse and now have a combination that works
well. In a herd of 9 the three horses I drive as pairs graze and play
together. I sold the nasty boy to someone who wanted to drive single
and she loves him.
